TEACHING EXPERIENCE

After obtaining my Bachelors and Masters degrees, I was first hired as a Teaching Assistant in 12th grade special education before earning a position as a third grade teacher in the same district. I lived and loved third grade for three years, am finishing up my first year in second grade, and am thrilled to be starting next year as a K-2 Reading Specialist!

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style is truly focused on teaching the whole child. A large percentage of what I teach is not academic, but social. I believe that teaching is truly a work of HEART and that it is our responsibility to our children to give them the best we can!
