TEACHING EXPERIENCE

2009-2011: Boston Public Schools 2011-2013: International School of Panama 2013-2015: American School of Valencia 2015- Present: Singapore American School

MY TEACHING STYLE

Come from a workshop background. Tend to teach workshop for mathematics, literacy, and writing. This involves students learning a mini lesson geared to meet the needs of the majority of the class. From here, students separate for independent work aimed at their differentiated needs. Finally, students will regroup together at the end for a discussion and to extend their learning. In recent years, started incorporating more usage of inquiry into the classroom and allowing students to guide their own learning.
