TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching since 2003. I have taught at various primary grades (1-3) in French Immersion for eleven years. I have also worked as a literacy and numeracy support teacher for grades 4, 5 and 6 and have had the opportunity to do some visual arts teaching. I am currently working as a French Immersion Support Teacher as well as teaching French Kindergarten.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe in making learning fun, engaging and involving choice as much as possible. As a language teacher, I believe that students need to be doing a lot of speaking of the language in order to increase their understanding, comfort, and fluency.
