Voyageur Smartboard Activity - JE PORTE

I use this activity to review what Voyageurs wear and to have students practice applying the letter sounds they're learning to their writing. This is also a good opportunity to have students track print and read familiar words and pattern sentences. Students practice writing many times in whole class as well as small groups before we move to the written activity that can accompany this activity. This activity offers insight into where students are in terms of the letter sound knowledge and can be used as assessment of and for learning.
