TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching since 1996, and started the AP Spanish program in 2008 and have been teaching AP ever since. In 2015 I became a Reader/Rater and since then have become a Table Leader. The AP Reading has been instrumental in shaping and steering my curriculum. I also teach Spanish IV college prep, and Spanish IV Advanced, which I also call "Pre AP", in that I do integrate certain elements of AP preparation into that class.

Born and raised in NYC, Spanish was everywhere. I learned a lot just sitting on the subway! I then went to University of Miami where again, Spanish was everywhere. I majored in Spanish there, and later on received my Master in Spanish Language and Culture in Salamanca, Spain. I also received my Master of Science in Education at Rowan College. I love Spanish and am generally excited to teach it every day :)
