I graduated from Louisiana State University with a Masters of Art in Teaching. Along with my master's degree, I am ESL certified and have taken reading specialist coursework. I student taught in a second-grade classroom for the 2019-2020 school year and will teach 2nd grade this upcoming year.
I like students to have the ability to work together with one another whenever possible. Students should be interested in their learning and excited about the content they are learning about. I am constantly finding and creating effective resources that will peak my students' interests and help them to better understand material.
I was recognized as a University Medalist for maintaining a 4.0 GPA throughout my undergraduate career at LSU.
I attended college at Louisiana State University for both my bachelor's degree and master's degree in Education.
After observing different schools throughout my undergrad and student teaching for a year in a second-grade classroom, there are so many things that I have learned that I want to carry into my own classroom. For this reason, I have taken the time to create resources that emphasize the things that I want to focus on in my own classroom. I hope you enjoy them and benefit from them as well!
