TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Most of my teaching experience the last ten years is with K-3rd grade. Previously, I taught art in elementary public schools. As we transitioned to Common Core Standards, I found that I loved creating teaching products. I am happy to have found Teacher Pay Teacher as a platform to share my creations.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe that my love of teaching comes from the enthusiasm the students show for learning. I continue to be amazed at the joy they feel as they discover something new. As I design teaching products, my goal is to inform and inspire. Students will be intrigued if I can teach them to use a skill, such as close reading, while discovering things about people or places. My products are designed to supplement classroom teaching of Common Core Standards.
