I have been involved in the education field, teaching all aspects of social studies and history, for almost a decade. I have taught in both urban and rural settings instructing junior high and high school classes.
I am passionate about the subject of history and my students can see that I love doing my job. Using technology to immerse my students in the events of the past allows them to experience history beyond the typical history textbook experience. It is important to give meaning to my lessons, and by allowing students to connect the events of the past to those of the present, I hope to foster critical thinking skills in my classroom.
