Have taught 9-12 Social Studies in a small, rural high school in Illinois for the past 3 years. Classes taught include World History, American Government, 20th Century U.S. History, and Illinois History.
Very interactive and hands-on. Classes focus on discussions, critical thinking activities, and collaborative projects. I seek to keep students engaged by incorporating many different types of learning activities while keeping a positive, high-energy level.
