I've been a bilingual Japanese teacher at a primary school for 13 years now. Keeping up with the ever-changing teaching materials and media used in teaching, I keep making resources to keep up with the variety of uses. The purpose of my shop is to share my BEST resources in entire my teaching experience. These materials have improved in content and quality over the years as I have used them. I would be happy to share these materials with you, which have saved my days.
I would describe my teaching style as an inquiry-based approach. Instead of offering answers to my students, I try to ask the right questions, and with the help of demonstration and group activities, they should find the answers. As I am a primary teacher, teaching bilingual program (teaching subjects in a targeted language), I need to break down the pieces of content for them to understand. And the students have limited language skills to explain or give answers to teachers. So when I teach I use lots of props and visuals for them to grasp the contents they learn. Especially when I teach Science, I use CLIL methodology which students learn content and language integrated learning.
