By Cecilia Rodriguez My teaching experience includes 9 years of teaching mathematics at the middle school level. For six years I taught at a Title 1 school and for the last 3 years I taught at a STEM school. As a math teacher I taught sixth, seventh, and eighth grade. I also taught a range of classes from eighth grade Algebra Readiness classes, for students that were unsuccessful as seventh graders to Algebra for accelerated seventh graders. Every year was a new challenge and I loved every minute of it. Recently, my husband and I decided to start a family. I have taken a break from teaching and I am at home raising our first child.
