TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching for 22 years at the same school. In that time, I have taught intervention for grades 3-5 and then as a regular education classroom teacher for third grade for the past 20 years. For the past four years, I have been the district head leader for third grade.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style is to create students that are lifelong learners. Social Emotional Lessons play an important part of each day as well as fostering global and cultural awareness. Students learn more when they are responsible for their learning which is why project based learning, independent self-paced lessons, and technology is incorporated on a daily basis through real world experiences.
