I believe, first and foremost, that developing a connection with the students and letting your personality shine is the most important step in teaching. I also find that bringing, or at least attempting to bring, humor to the class completely changes the classroom dynamic and has worked wonders when it comes to motivating students.

- I have taught for 9 years in a wide variety of both business and math courses. I began my career teaching math, but have made the full switch to Entrepreneurship, Personal Finance, and AP Economics for the last 6 years. I became the Business and Technology Department Head 3 years ago at my school, but am still a full time teacher as well. - I studied Accounting at Bentley University, but have realized my passion lies with teaching. I made the switch from working in finance in my mid-20's and I haven't looked back since! -I coach golf and tennis, as well as moderate DECA and the Finance Club
