Drawing is learning how to see things differently. My Pinterest Boards |
I've been teaching Visual Arts for seven years, grades K-five. I instruct a diverse group of elementary students and have developed highly effective teaching techniques that engage many styles of learners. The thing I enjoy most about teaching is watching my students explore and develop their creativity.
I believe in challenging my students in all of the art disciplines. My projects are created with multiple components yet differentiated for the various styles of learners in my classes. Technology is very much a part of my curriculum with the use of the SMART board and SMART board technology. I also teach Adobe Photoshop Elements and Adobe Illustrator to my fifth grade students.

I love drawing. I take drawing classes to continually improve on my skills and techniques. Anybody can learn to draw. Drawing is just a way of seeing things differently and recording it onto paper.
