What educators are saying

I used this with my third graders. I did not do every shade of the value scale and let them choose two shapes to shade. They enjoyed learning about shading and were so excited to take it home with them to practice!
The perfect practice worksheet for my fifth-grade students. We are starting a value/ form unit and this compliments everything they have learned and need to practice!

Description

3D Shading Worksheet

This is a great exercise for students in grades 2-6 as a precursor to any lesson on shading with a pen or pencil. Introduce the shading technique of value by pressing and lightening up on the pencil. Students should fill in the values of the shading bar and the gradient bar. They should also use those values to fill in the shapes to transition from 2D to 3D.
