Board of Directors: Florida Educators of Hearing Impaired 2000 - 2005. (Serving as Secretary, Vice President, President and Past President) Active member and attending statewide conferences since 1987, having presented on several topics during the breakout sessions of the conferences. Elected by the members of FEHI to represent the State of Florida as Teacher of the Year in 1995. Participated in 6 teacher exchange experiences with the Fulbright Memorial Fund's project in Japan, working in their Deaf residential schools. (1998 - 2006) I taught ASL I and ASL II at USF as a foreign language credit for undergraduates for 7 years. Became a published author in 2010 developing a curriculum and educational products for special needs deaf students.
