DESCRIPTION:

HandCraftEdASL© products serve as a basic reference for expanding the knowledge of Deaf culture and American Sign Language syntax. They are meant to be used to bridge the gap between parent and child or educator and child. Experience has taught the author that the following described techniques have proven helpful in the Language Arts instruction of deaf or hard of hearing students who also have additional handicapping conditions. She feels that these products can also be useful in the areas of educating students with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorders), Auditory Processing Disorders, or other Intellectual Disabilities.

Set 1 includes dots and the hand-shapes for the numbers 0 -9. Set 2 matches color signs to colored shapes. Available in printed decks that include both the numbers and dot version of a classic dominoes game and a modified version that uses the same pattern with color words and shapes. Games include instructions and rules for playing.
