Allison Kreider

I have taught most grades within K-5 and in all subject areas. I have also taught college classes in linguistics and teacher preparation. I currently teach classes within the district and state of Oregon around creating a technology infused classroom.

Allowing students to express their creativity using technology while also teaching and guiding students while learning through basic instruction.

I was nominated for a Star Teacher in 4J.

I graduated from North Eugene High School in 1997 and went to college at Western Oregon University to major in Law Enforcement. When I realized that if I wanted to save the world, and law enforcement probably would be too late to help people, I changed my focus and moved back to attend the University of Oregon. I graduated in 2001 with a double major in Spanish and Sociology with a minor in Latin American Studies. When I decided I wanted to be a teacher, I went on to receive my MAT in teaching at Pacific University in 2003. I have been teaching for 10 years in the 4J school district in Eugene, Oregon. I enjoy teaching young kids, but also enjoy teaching teachers.

I also love teaching science and technology. I try to have STEM be a focus when teaching most of my lessons, even in reading!!
