I have taught Kindergarten for five years, and I have loved every minute of it. I find myself learning just as much from my Kinders as I hope they are learning from me. It is such a rewarding experience that I pray continues for many years!
In my classroom, I use a student - centered approach to learning using inquiry based and cooperative learning styles. I feel that interactive, hands-on techniques allow students to truly learn each skill I teach. By using these techniques my students fully grasp each concept and are able to build on that learning. I also believe in facilitating partner and group work daily in my classroom so that my students learn to take responsibility for completing their work and projects. This is also important to teach my Kindergarten students social skills.

I have a Bachelor's degree in Integrated Studies K-6 with a Pre-K endorsement. I have also obtained a Masters degree in Educational Theory and Practice.
I am the wife to an amazing man and the mother to a terrific little boy! I am a very blessed woman, and I thank God each day for this wonderful life he has given me.
