Homeschooling Mama with experience of working with children and young adults on life coaching skills such as nonviolent communication, resilience to hate and prejudice, growth mindset and retelling our life stories to feel empowered. Experience delivering training to teachers secondary school around issues of discrimination and prejudice, and creating lesson plans and student activity kits for teachers to use in the classroom.

Hands-On learning. I encourage a growth mindset where little ones want to learn and feel empowered to grow their minds. I find inspiration from both the Montessori approach and the Charlotte Mason approach, but mainly like to adapt to what the child needs.

Hello everyone! My name is Soraya, I am a homeschooling mom of 2. I am passionate about teaching and nurturing my little ones and spend a lot of time creating my own resources. I am particularly passionate about Social Emotional learning. I have years of experience in the nonprofit sector working with youth around topics like: leadership skills, resilience to hate, non violent communication, feeling empowered to stand up to prejudice and discrimination, retelling our life stories and changing the narrative to feel empowered, ... I have trained secondary school teachers and created lesson plans and student activity kits. With my little ones, I am using all my professional and life experience to provide the best possible education and grow them into fair, tolerant, empowered adults.
