TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Hey Teachers! Third grade is where it's at! I've been teaching a little over 17 years. I love learning new skills and strategies to engage students. Whole Brain Teaching and Teaching Like a Pirate are two ways that I grab my students and take them on a journey through third grade.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style is cozy, flexible, and safe. I have decorated my room with black and neon. I took many things off my walls and have more meaningful items. There are many choices of seating and low lit lamps to set the mood for learning. Music is always playing in the background. I like when kids walk in my room and make a comment about how it's different.
