The Great Depression in Pictures PowerPoint
This is a fun activity that puts the students in the historical context as a photo journalist. Essentially they pretend they've taken all the photos they see in the PowerPoint, and after observing the inhumanity of the state of the country, they must write a letter to the American government imploring it for aid.
