Jeff Koons Balloon Dog PDF-art lesson
This is a short powerpoint in PDF format on Jeff Koons and his balloon dog sculptures. I use this with grades K-6, especially when I have a substitute. The powerpoint (in PDF format) has a lot of photos of examples, links to 2 great videos (one on how to draw the balloon dog and one on how to shade with colored pencil). Stitching lesson
Description of Lesson.
Teaching stitching is an area I have often avoided. Managing 25 – 30 children’s needle threading, knots and their frustration, it’s all a bit exhausting.
I have written this lesson for TPT because my latest stitching endeavor was a surprising pleasure.
I cover burlap preparation and introduce a variety of stitches to create a finished piece for display.
