November Calendar and Morning Routines for Smartboard
My morning meeting continues to be an integral part of the day. We spend time on ELA and math skills during this time. The children really enjoy the interactive slides. I have some great interactive Thanksgiving themes this month.

Gratitude Challenge
This product is a great way to challenge your students (and yourself!) to show gratitude daily. I use it at the beginning of the month of November, but you can begin it whenever you prefer. Each slide has a different challenge to show gratitude towards others and yourself. Recommendations: Print the slides 6 per page.Do not print double sided.Laminate and cut out the squares. Tape the Gratitude Challenge square over the actual challenge so students can reveal the challenge each day!

Thanksgiving Fall/Autumn Virtual Classroom Background
Enjoy the spirit of Thanksgiving with this Fall/Autumn colored virtual classroom background. It is beautifully put together to spark conversations about gratitude. Also, allow students to get leaves from outside, put them underneath plain white sheet paper and using fall colors, create their very own unique background (like the one on the class wall). Thanksgiving Turkey Stories Virtual Classroom Background
Use this virtual classroom background to see who could come up with the funniest turkey story. A student may be inspired by one or all the turkeys present in the open book. The bottomline is that they have fun! Before sharing time, allow students to fill a sock with sand or rice, then hang it from their chin, to create the turkey wattle or do create any other turkey inspired part or prop to help with the effects of the story.
