Living in the Shadow of Italy's Volcanoes - Video & Questions/Activities
My students and I watched this video alongside our unit about Italy and the Roman Empire. This goes really nicely with a science unit about volcanoes as well. We talked about the effect climate and landmarks such as volcanoes that affect the lives of the people around them. They also have a version of this handout on there; however, it was a lot more involved than my 6th grade class could handle, so I revised it for my students.
