Fantasy Book Club Unit - Smartboard
This Smartboard presentation can be used to supplement and guide a fantasy book club unit in reading. The Smartboard introduces the genre of fantasy/science fiction and lays out the expectations for book clubs. Students will also be making a "strategy log" to track their progress as they read. The focus of this unit is on comprehension skills so there are lessons on making connections, visualizing, determining importance, quote analysis, synthesis, and questioning.
