ALL ABOUT BATS SCAVENGER HUNT

All About Bats Scavenger hunt is a supplemental activity to be used for life science in 5th-8th grades. It comes with 12 bat fact cards, a graphic organizer, and answer key. In my classroom, I printed the 12 fact cards, laminated them, and hung them around the room. The students worked in pairs to read the cards and fill in the graphic organizer. This is material from a one week summer camp that I created. The camp was called "Gadgets, Widgets, & Gizmos" - for grades 6-8. It is basically a self contained unit that has lots of hands on labs and activities. It teaches series and parallel circuits and electronic components. Students use two different electric kits, solder an LED circuit together, and then for the grand finale build an FM radio. I think a creative public school science teacher would do well with this material. However, i
