Interior & Exterior Angles of Polygons - Complete Unit of Work
In this unit, students will learn about rules for working with polygons. They will start by looking at different types of polygons and what is meant by ‘regular’ and ‘irregular’ polygons. Students will then learn about the sum of exterior and interior angles of polygons, and how to calculate the exterior and interior angles of regular polygons, including learning that interior and exterior angles add up to 180 degrees. Finally students will look at what is meant by congruent and similar shapes.

Similarity & Congruence - Complete Unit of Work
In this unit students will learn about congruent and similar shapes. They will start by learning a definition of congruence and understanding the conditions under which triangles can be shown to be congruent, and then using this to solve angle problems. They will then go on to look at the definition of similar shapes, how to prove that two triangles are similar and the effect of the scale factor on the area and volume of similar shapes and solids.

Review Triangles in Geometry Curriculum: Similar, Congruent, Right, Inequality
This is part 2 of a 3 part review of the entire curriculum of a high school Geometry class. In this product are 3 copies and answer sheets for the basics included in 4 units on triangles. Circle Geometry - Complete Lesson
In this unit, students will learn about coordinate geometry in the context of circles. They will start by finding the equation of tangents to the circle at a point by first finding the gradient of the radius and using the fact that the radius and tangent are perpendicular so their gradients multiply together to -1. After this, they will look at the equations of the circles themselves, being able to plot and recognise graphs of circle with their centre at the origin.

Trammels
A trammel is a small strip of wood, plastic or other material which moves in such a way that its end points trace out two curves, C1 and C2. A pencil is inserted into the trammel and as the trammel moves, the pencil traces out a curve. The document gives a description of how to make trammels and investigate their properties mathematically. The suggestions made in the document make it suitable for an IB Extended Essay investigation.
