Included is an EDITABLE cell phone policy. Your student and their parents/guardians will sign it. It includes proper times when students can be on their phones/devices and when they cannot. It also lays out detailed consequences. If you have devices in your classroom that students can use like Chrome books or iPads, you can add that in to the policy. I made this because I found that the longer the syllabus, the less likely my kids are to actually read it/retain it/refer back to it. I wanted to condense what I had so my kids wouldn’t be overwhelmed right at the beginning of the year. This syllabus is short and sweet with all the ‘highlights’ in one place that was easy for them to ‘navigate’ with bold headings and clean lines.
