Black History: "My Black Hero" Slideshow Project Lesson Plan With Scoresheet

These materials include learning objectives; a lesson plan/instructions for a Google slideshow project; and a list of suggested subjects. This approach can be used for a Black History Month project, but could also be used for other projects in which students create a slideshow. Here is a rubric to use for a Black History Month presentation, project or writing assignment. It can be printed to attach to the assignment for grading. The rubric is broken up into categories: Early Life, Achievements, and Impact. It also includes grammar and creativity and oral presentation. Give your students a grade out of 2 for every content mark and 10 for the grammar, creativity, and oral presentation.
