This is an excel file that can be used with the Teachers College Narrative rubric.This was made using the 5th grade TC narrative rubric.I am not sure if the point system changes for other grades. When using the excel file you can input the scores of each student and the cells will change in color and the score will be calculated. I use this to look at whole class needs. I use this form during our silent reading time. Each student has a day that they meet with me to discuss their book that they are currently working on. I attached 3-5 sheets behind student dividers inside of a thick 3-inch binder. When I meet with a student, I record their book title, reading level, date, what we discuss about their book and set the student up with a new reading goal for the week.
