Elementary Musical Scope and Sequence
This is a K - 6 musical scope and sequence for the general music education classroom. It is one we worked on for over a year for our school district. (Updated 10-8-18) I am the only elementary music teacher in my district. This is a good starting point for any teacher who does not have a scope and sequence to follow. Please feel free to customize it to your school and your needs. This document is in Word format. It is customizable for anyone who downloads it!

Scales Club - Essential Elements for Strings
Motivate your students to memorize your scales and become members of the SCALES CLUB! Scale levels are divided into bronze, silver, and gold and are adaptable to your classes/students depending on the method book they currently use. Musician Interview Project
This is a really cool project for students to get to know more about musicians. I tried to pick musicians that they might not know as well, but would still recognize. Even if students ask, I do not let them pick people outside of the list. But you can obviously feel free to modify the musicians or the questions. I also have students present about one musician of their choosing. You will get a lot of the same people talked about, but they think it’s really cool.
