They would have to follow the writing process, conduct research (to pick their park) and write a business letter in the correct format. One of my main objectives as a teacher is to make my students life-long thinkers. I want them to think critically, and one of the ways that I do this is by teaching them how to make inferences. My students truly struggle with this skill. It is tested on all of the state tests, and across the board, American students struggle with this skill.
