This is a great tool for students struggling to understand the transformation of rotation. This is a very scaffolded and broken-down step by step guide to rotating shapes on a grid.
The guide has two parts - (1) rotating with the point of rotation ON the shape and (2) rotating with the point of rotation OFF the shape. It goes into detail about the possible scenarios that one may come across when rotating a shape and allows the student to practice each small, broken down step, before moving on

Hi! I absolutely love using this resource in my classroom. This is something that I use all school year with my third graders. In my classroom I printed this out and put it in a sheet protector. Then I had students use their strategies using white board markers and we practiced daily. I hope you find this resource helpful in your classroom!
