Mathematical storyline - A Society in the Making

Created by
Sarahs desk
This is a mathematical storyline, in which the children find themselves on an island, which they need to explore. The material consists of 5 themes, about 15 lessons. I use it as a supplement to my other teachings in math. So once a week, we “play” the Island. After completing the 5 themes, you’ll have established the basics for ”the game” to continue. The children will be able to do exercises, grow goods and trade as long as you want. You can also choose to buy extra themes for the storyline.
