I love showing the kids a window into life in a different country. Here we travel to Cuba and take inspiration from the classic American cars there. Butterfly Sculptures Inspired by Mexican Folk Art: Art Lesson for Grades 4-7
These beautiful butterfly sculptures are inspired by folk art butterflies created by a family in the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico. Students learn about their work, the important role butterflies have played in their culture, and how to make a butterfly sculpture.
