在孩子的語言發展中，描述能力是一個非常重要的技能。這是表達自己意見最主要的必備要素，必須善於用語言描述事物，才能建立對某事的認知與思考。在目前台灣的社會中，由於孩子們進入幼兒園，再加上智能手機的普及，導致過去社會所依賴孩子傳話的需求大量減少。因此，孩子很少有描述自己所見或轉述他人話語的訓練。也因此，建立長句的描述能力對現在的孩子來說是一個非常重要必須建立的能力。進入小學之後，很多老師都會要求孩子寫小日記，孩子們常常不知道應該寫些什麼才好，台灣沒有真正良好的小日記訓練方法，所以對台灣的孩子來說，寫小日記是一個痛苦的過程。有鑑於這樣的困擾，關關破王麗芳老師在協助孩子的過程中，大量建立了許多的教案，協助孩子們針對環境、靜物、人物描寫、事件過程...等方面，協助孩子們撰寫小文章，建立基礎的語言與描述認知。這份教案提供了許多詞彙的建議方法，很多孩子在使用詞彙方面非常貧乏，因此引導者必須協助孩子們先理解這些教案可能會用到的詞彙，並了解其中的意思。孩子們在過程中可能會有令人難以置信的回答，這是因為他們平時使用的語言比較匱乏。千萬不要用「犯錯了」的心態來面對孩子的學習過程，這會讓孩子以為語言裡有很多對
