This prezi was created for my students using the Go Math Curricula. The students compare multiplying with 5 with telling time and counting nickles. Students also compare multiplying by 10 with counting groups of dimes. Skipping counting, using the multiplication chart and doubling the products of 5 to get multiplies of 10 are explained during the presentation. Students could watch the prezi as an engagement activity or a way to review and strengthen their existing skills.
