Understanding font usage is a 21st century skill. This Google Slide presentation and assignment will introduce students to 17 common (and good) fonts used in past and present graphic design. Fonts range from Carlson (18th century) to modern Google fonts like Montserrat. Students are also introduced to distinctions between fonts - subtle way to identify differences between fonts.After viewing/discussing "Fonts Students Need to Know" Slides, students will complete the Font Distinctions assignment:
