This is a PowerPoint presentation that I made to sort of outline the basics of the five periods of music history that I decided to focus on in my classroom:
1. Gregorian Chant
2. Renaissance
3. Baroque
4. Classical
5. Romantic

I am using this as part of my Black History Month Celebration. I started using themed voice warm-ups this year with my students because a friend of mine said she started doing pitch-matching at the beginning of EVERY lesson. Since doing this, my students have improved SO MUCH! Almost every class of kinders can match pitch now! I am so excited, so I thought I'd start sharing my thematic warm-ups.
