Ordinary Mary's Extraordinary Deed Lesson Plan
Students will listen to the first half of the book, "Ordinary Mary's Extraordinary Deed." They will think about how one kind deed can effect many other people. The deed can continue making more and more people happy by inspiring others to be kind. Students will be asked to think about a dessert they would like to make for another person. They will draw and write about the dessert and the person they would share it with.
