This is a modified worksheet from the middle school geometry curriculum. It is excellent for special education students who require an alternate or modified curriculum.
This worksheet includes four rectangles/squares and four triangles. The pages are separated by shape so they can be given one at a time. The worksheets have the formula for area broken down into easy steps. Students have to fill in the blanks, which will help them solve the equation.

I made this game for some strugglers with identifying shapes and their attributes. Just covers 6 shapes from the Texas Standards of what first grade needs to know. There are some challenging riddles as well. Students play dominoes with them. No materials. Print, Cut and Laminate! This is great for a take home acitivity. You can even have it self checking on the back by symbols.
