Simple picture words
I am a TA for an autistic, non-verbal child with limited fine motor skills. She can't or won't use sign language. I developed this program of picture words for communication. I cut the individual pictures into cards and laminated them. The student will point to or pick up the appropriate card so that her wants and needs are known. This chart is designed for students who need constant breaks. I have set this chart up and have velcroed the activities to the chart. Once the student has completed the activity, he/she will place the activity under activities completed.
This really helps students who cant sit for too long. It has worked and will continue to work!

Compare and order fractions, decimals, and percent
Here is an alternative to completing worksheets for these skills. I include a skill sheet which explains how students can convert the number to compare them. You could use them in math centers, have the students work them out on whiteboards, use it for a game, or as task cards. As they are cut apart the students are not as overwhelmed as using the skills on a worksheet.
