The History of the Pythagorean Theorem [HSG.SRT.C.8]
This worksheet briefly describes some of the history of the Pythagorean theorem and then allows students to work through one of proofs. Oddly enough, this proof was actually developed by a high school student in Indiana nearly 85 years ago, so now you can motivate your student to devise their own proof!
