The COVID-19 Area and Perimeter STEAM Project
This is an open-ended STEAM task focusing mainly on area, perimeter, writing, 3D shapes, and problem-solving. I have used it with my students as a summative assessment task but also adapted some portions of it to use as pre-assessments on area and perimeter. Students are encouraged to work collaboratively, in groups of 2 to 4.
