Standards-Based Paragraph of the Week Writing to State and Support Opinions
This is a daily, scaffolded approach to paragraph writing that is perfect to help get your students writing good, solid, detailed paragraphs. Students will write one weekly paragraph (or more), focusing on the organization and format of the paragraph itself. More importantly, this writing is text-based or standards-based--just like it is on the state test!
This is designed as homework because that's how I use it in my classroom; however, you can also use it as classwork in a center or as a warm
