Area Activities for Station Review
Easy and fun area review!!I made this as a station review for my 3rd grade class before we took our area assessment. I laminated and cut these task cards and split them into 4 stations. The students took their student recording page as they rotated, and gave each group about 10 minutes to work in each station. I also included multiplication charts at the stations that needed them, dry erase markers, and highlighters for the word problem station. My students had such a fun time and did very well

Electric Circuit Design Challenge
This 40-minute lesson uses a design-based approach to build a familiar favorite, the electric circuit game. Teams use what they know about electric circuits to solve the problem of making a quiz game. They discuss and then map out their ideas for building a working game in their science research notebook (SRN) using electric symbols. Animal Enclosure Area Project
This activity is great for independent work or partner/group work to assess understanding of AREA as well as animal adaptations.
