Reflection or Refraction?
Review light energy with this flipchart which includes a slide on vocabulary and an interactive sorting activity. The first slide is a fill in the blank vocabulary activity on light. Students will drag words to the correct blank to complete the sentences. The second slide has example pictures of either refraction or reflection. Students will drag the picture to the correct category in the t-chart.

Science - Speed, Velocity, & Acceleration
This is a physics flipchart teaching kids about speed, velocity, and acceleration. It includes many short YouTube videos to help explain the concept. I used it in my 6th grade class, but this would certainly help students from 4th grade all the way up to 8th grade understand the concepts.It is a 3 or a 4 day flipchart (for middle school) depending on your speed of teaching. This is a flipchart teaching Newton's 3 Laws of Motion. It goes through each law with a definition and several real-world examples. This is the flipchart I use to teach newton's laws and graphing motion to my 8th graders. I use this along with NASA's stomp rocket lab to teach about aerodynamics, force, motion, and acceleration. I also utilize motion sensors in order to begin teaching motion at the beginning of class.

1st Grade ActivInspire Flipchart Intro to Solids: Building Towers
This is a 1st grade flip chart I created for use on ActivInspire to be used as an introduction to the FOSS science kit: Solids and Liquids. One of the first investigations is to create a tower from solids. This flip chart introduces the student to different type of towers. It also contains real images of the solids that are included in the FOSS kit for use by the students. It aligns with Colorado State Standards.
