Kinematics - Constant Speed Lab

Created by
Fudge Factors
This is a 2 page low-tech lab for an academic level introductory physics or physical science that focuses on the relationship between distance covered and time traveled for an object moving at (nearly) constant velocity. It includes data table, graphing, and analysis questions. Ideally, it should be used after the students have worked through my other worksheets on graphing as some of the analysis questions depend on their understanding of slope = velocity for a distance vs time graph.Update '

Kinematic One-Dimensional Motion LinkLesson® - Online Distance Blended Activity

Short Description: Students learn about kinematic equations as it relates to Physics concepts: including distance, displacement, time, speed, velocity, and constant acceleration. Students learn by viewing instructional media and answering formative questions and problems. Students will investigate the acceleration during a simulation of a walking man motion, before a short reflective writing task. Graphing Bundle

Created by
Fudge Factors
This bundle includes all of my graphing activities and problem sets. The focus of each of these activities is two-fold:1) Plotting points correctly2) Understanding the meaningMost of these activities are paper-and-pencil only. "Graphing Real World Data" starts with a hands-on class activity of timing a bowling ball's roll across the room to show students a concrete example of an object moving and then constructing a graph from the motion to teach the students that a line diagonally upward on the

Kinematic One-Dimensional Motion ProbSheet® - Online Distance Blending Learning

Short Description: Students practice math problems solving 10 word-problems concerning velocity in Physics: distance, displacement, speed, velocity, and acceleration calculations. Some instructional media is present, but students should have had previous instruction such as found here. Some of the problems are self-grading, but the teacher will likely have to review student entry and click the X or checkmark. See the video overview of How A ProbSheet Works. Goes great with this Kinematic One-Dim
