I have used The Solar System-Procedural in my 3rd grade classroom for three years now. We are able to work in procedural text for reading AND the solar system model for science in one lesson. This project does need different sizes of candy, such as m&ms, skittles, gobstoppers, marshmallows, etc. to be completed.
